Dean, College of Health and Public Administration
Karen Miner-Romanoff is Dean of the College of Health and Public Administration and Program Chair of the Criminal Justice Administration Program at Franklin University. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration from Walden University (summa cum laude), with her dissertation a qualitative study of adults currently serving sentences they received as juveniles and a Master’s in Public Policy and Administration (summa cum laude) from the Ohio State University. An attorney as well, she obtained her Juris Doctorate from the University of Toledo Law School (summa cum laude), with clerkships in the U.S. District Court and U.S. Court of Appeals, work with a major law firm, and position as Special Assistant to the Ohio Attorney General Chief of Staff and Chief Counsel. At Franklin University, Dr. Miner-Romanoff teaches Juvenile Delinquency and the Law, Social Deviance, and the Senior Capstone and has arranged roundtable discussions between students and inmates.
