State of Ohio vs. Ruben Rhodes

This comprehensive virtual case study begins with policy and ends with sentencing. Within are educational and authentic videos of the criminal justice system from beginning to end and back around to reoffending and recidivism. It is meant to provide the criminal justice student with a holistic and experiential learning tool. While immersed inside of the case, students will apply, analyze and evaluate current systemic approaches to crime. This innovative opportunity encourages systemic thinking toward effective criminal justice policies and practices.


Witness #2

Co-Defendant Testimony against Mr. Rhodes. Note that the prosecutor immediately addresses the plea bargain that this witness struck with the state in an attempt to maintain the credibility of the witness. Note that the witness was escorted in handcuffs. The prosecution is establishing a relationship prior to proving the elements of the case.
